THE LEO CHILD - If I were king of the forest!!!!!! THEN..let's see.. I'd stay at home with the cubs and she'd go out and do all the "hunting". uh huh uh huh................. THE SUN is the planetary ruler of LEO, which in constellation talk is ruled by ROMULUS the great lion. GOLD, SUN, HEART, EGO and ASSERTION are all LEO keys. It is a very extroverted sign. Just look at Tina Turner, Madonna and Sean Penn, Mick Jagger, Robert De Niro, and Dustin Hoffman..... theatrical indeed, but whether true warriorship is there, one has to wonder. Alot of it is really for "show" purposes and LEOS can be social daredevils with a rented car and several dates under their arms for the prom.......LEO, being ruled by the SUN represents the patriarchal values that our present system is built upon.

As one looks back upon Egyptian culture, one sees a time when great LEONINE gods abounded and GOLD became ruling source...... gee, wonder what it would be like if "concrete" became the accepted source of value? OK... LEOS can be pompous, meaning that they will go out of their way to project a sort of royalness or head up in the air, chest out...... even when they haven't but a dime in their piggy banks, adults included. There are times when this heightens self worth and there are downright times when this behavior requires the statement of " ohh knock it off, you lost the game and that's that!" Ooh the LEO, especially the females, love to be the "center of attention" and any remark that lends itself to the mundane plebeian world... well.. it rocks their velvet throne!

Let us take a look at the animal world for a minute, namely the fact that female lions do all of the hunting, maiming and fighting and the male lion prefers to stay at home with the kids..........They are the charmers.... gregarious, cute and fun, but don't expect them to be the "physical" rulers. They tend to rule by charisma....ohh did I mention that President Clinton was a LEO? One day rent the video/film called "The Candidate" starring another LEO, Robert Redford....and then let's talk. Don't get me wrong, LEOS are affable, fiery people that project FIRE straight from the heart, just give them plenty of room on stage!
